Sino-Bolivian first "Belt and Road" project is surging with vitality and vigor

Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. (Sinosteel MECC) is undertaking the EPC construction of the Mutun Integrated Steel Plant project in Bolivia. This project is Bolivia's first integrated steel plant and represents the first "Belt and Road" project between China and Bolivia.

Recently, Liu Xiaofeng, the Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Bolivia, visited the project. He received a work report from Sinosteel MECC, held work discussions with Alvarado, the President of Mutun Steel Company, and Elgert, the Director of the Office of the Ministry of Mining and Metallurgy of Bolivia. Additionally, a safety inspection of key positions was conducted, and Chinese personnel were visited and consoled.

Commercial Counselor Liu Xiaofeng emphasized that the Mutun Integrated Steel Plant is a key project in Bolivia's strategy for industrializing natural resources. It is also the first collaborative "Belt and Road" project between China and Bolivia. He expressed the hope that Sinosteel MECC would fulfill its project commitments with a strong sense of responsibility and mission, contributing actively to promoting Bolivia's socio-economic development and deepening the strategic partnership between China and Bolivia.

At the construction site, the busy figures of the Sinosteel MECC project team, along with the construction site filled with steel structures, create a vibrant scene of spring-like fervor, ensuring the orderly progress of the project construction.

Under the scorching sun, vehicles shuttle back and forth, construction machinery roars, and the clashing sound of steel bars is constant. With the efficient coordination of the Sinosteel MECC project team, the manufacturing and delivery of project equipment are progressing steadily. Construction, steel structure installation, equipment installation, training, and other tasks are in full swing.

For the smooth completion of the project, Hangzhou Liyi Technology Co., Ltd. provided electrical cabinet dehumidifiers, electrical cabinet temperature and humidity control devices, Three-phase Power Meter , high-voltage protection devices and other software and hardware equipment with intellectual property rights.
